One of the quickest ways to make homemade butter is in a food processor and with heavy whipping cream. Some people have found success making butter using a blender, cake mixer and even a jar.
Below is a quick and simple recipe to make homemade butter using a food processor. If you don’t have a food processor you can use a blender or cake mixer.
Homemade Butter using heavy cream
Take two cups of heavy whipping cream. The cream should be left out at room temperature to soften for a few minutes.
Blend the 2 cups of heavy whipping cream in a food processor until the butter separates from the liquid (for about 10 minutes).
Then place in a cheese cloth/muslin cloth and strain squeezing out all the liquid. Make sure you have removed all the liquid before storing the homemade butter in a container. You can add ¼ teaspoon salt to add more flavor to it.
