Meals on a Budget: Garlic Flavored Black Beans and Rice
Try this when a tasty and filling meal is wanted, but budgets call for very little spending.
Ingredients
1 package boil in bag rice
1 can black beans
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 pat of butter
Salt to taste
Prepare rice according to directions.
In a small pan, begin heating garlic and butter. When butter completely melts, add the black beans, juice included.
Cook on medium until the beans are heated thoroughly.
Serve black bean mixture over rice for a tasty dinner that is very filling and extremely easy on the budget.
