Pretzel-crusted Drumsticks

W/ their pretzel coating, these drumsticks satisfy everyone’s appetites. I’m sure you’ll agree, they’re yummy! Serve them w/ rice, buttered broccoli spears & oven-fresh rolls.

Prep:  10 min.

Bake:  50 min.

1/2 c. butter, melted

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

1/8 tsp. garlic powder

1 c. finely crushed pretzels

1/4 c. chopped pecans

1/2 tsp. pepper

1 1/2 – 2 lbs. chicken drumsticks

In shallow bowl, combine butter, cayenne & garlic powder.  In another shallow bowl, combine pretzels, pecans & pepper.  Dip chicken in butter mixture, then roll in pretzel mixture.

Place in greased 13×9x2″ baking dish.  Bake, uncovered, @ 350 deg. F. for 50-55 min. or til chicken juices run clear, turning once. 

Yield:  5 servings.
