Ingredients:

You will need twelve plastic Easter eggs – the kind that snap apart and are 3 x 2 inches in size.

Three tablespoons of butter

Four cups of mini marchmallows

Six cups of Rice Krispies cereal

One half cup of M&M’s ( You can also use mini jelly beans )

Decorating gel or a can of frosting – optional.

Instructions:

First spray the inside of the plastic eggs with cooking spray.

Then melt the butter on low heat in a large pan. Add the mini marshmallows and stir this until they are fully melted. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to this butter and marshmallow mixture. Stir until its coated well.

Grease your hands with a little butter and firmly press one quarter cup of the mixture into each egg half. Then take it out of the mold.  Put them on wax papar and allow them to slightly cool.  Put five or six M&M’s in one half of every plastic egg. Press the two egg halves together until they stick. Now they will need to completly cool. You can decorate the eggs with frosting or gel if you desire once they are cool.
