Spaghetti Pie

Very similar to lasagna, but with much less fuss, this fun and tasty dish is a real family favorite.

Ingredients:

    Ingredients:
    1 pound ground beef
    1 jar Prego Marinara pasta sauce
    1 cup cottage cheese (may substitute ricotta cheese if desired)
    1 cup grated mozzerella cheese
    1/3 cup parmesan cheese
    2 eggs
    1 tbsp melted butter
    6 ounces dry spaghetti
    Cook spaghetti according to package direction.  Drain.  Mix parmesan, beaten eggs and melted butter in a large bowl.  Stir in the spaghetti until all pieces are coated.  Press into buttered pie plate (deep dish size). Put cottage cheese on top. Brown ground beef with chopped onion.  Drain fat. Top with grated mozzerella and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Serve with tossed salad and breadsticks.  Makes 8 servings.
