Stuffed Mushrooms

Great for hors d’oeuvres or a buffet item.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. moonlight mushrooms

  • 1/4 lb. crab meat - chopped

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic

  • 1/4 tsp. lemon pepper

  • 1 egg

Method

Wash mushrooms quickly, do not soak. Remove stems.  Arrange on baking tray sprayed with butter spray.  Mix remaining ingredients; fill each cap with as much as it will hold.  Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot. Garnish with parsley.

    never heard of moonlight mushrooms? I will look for them. This sounds so good. A must try.
