Easy and Quick Pizza

A simple and easy to make pizza. Add your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 225g. plain flour
  • 4 level teasps. baking powder
  • 1 level teasp. salt
  • 25g. butter or marge
  • 150ml. cold milk

Method

  1. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl.
  2. Rub in butter or marge.
  3. Add milk at once and using a round edged knife mix to a soft dough.
  4. Turn out onto a floured surface, knead to a small ball.
  5. Leave to one side.
  6. Divide into 2, roll out each into a round about 25cm.
  7. Transfer to 2 greased baking trays.
  8. Spread with tomato puree or any other pizza filling desired i.e. fresh tomatoes,
  9. mushrooms, salami etc.
  10. Cover with cheese.
  11. Bake for 20-25 min’s. in a hot oven 200c. 400f. gas 6.
  12. Cut and serve, but don’t forget the filling will be hot !!
