Angel Hair Pasta and Shrimp

Yummy shrimp with angel hair pasta.

                                                  Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp

     Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup Butter                                

3/4 cup Flour                                     

1 1/2 cup Milk                                   

1/2 cup Cream                                 

1 1/2 tbsp Pesto sauce                        

1/2 tsp Dried Basil                              

1 1/2 tbsp Chopped parsley                 

3 tsp Minced garlic  

2 tbsp Grated Parmesan cheese 

1/2 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp White pepper

1 tsp Worcestershire and Tabasco sauce

2/3 Pound shrimp

1/2 Red pepper, in strips           

1/4 lb Trimmed snow peas

1/4 Thinly sliced lemon, garnish

                 Preparation:

  In a saucepan melt butter over medium heat, mix in flour and cook until golden brown. Add cream and milk, simmer and continue to serve till thick. Add pesto,parsley, garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, basil, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until blended. Reduce and stir occasionally. Cook pasta according to package. While pasta is cooking, boil pepper, shrimp and snow peas. Poach till shrimp are pink. Add shrimp and vegetables to your sauce, cook for 1 minute longer. Drain the pasta. Serve sauce over hot pasta, garnish with thinly sliced lemon.
