Cheese Coated Bacon Rolls Stuffed with Crab Meat and Apple
It tastes as yummy as it sounds.
First boil the crabs in salt water. Simultaneously boil an apple in another pan.
Once the crab cools down cool take out all its flesh. Also mash your boiled apple lightly with a spoon.
Mix both these well with a few spoons of bread crumbs and the following spices
- ground nutmeg
- white pepper
- cinnamon powder
- one powdered green cardamom
- chopped sage and coriander
Cover the meat mixture and let it stand for a while. In the mean time sauté half a chopped onion in olive oil and a tablespoon of butter till its caramelized.
Now add this onion to the meat together with half a cup of fresh cream.
Mix all the ingredients well before you finally add 2 beaten eggs and mix again.
Now take a small lump of the meat and make it into a roll. Then place the roll of meat in the middle of the bacon strips and roll. Place this on a thin cheese slice and roll again.
Make more such rolls and place them in a microwave dish. Add a toothpick to each roll so that they don’t open out.
Microwave for around 8-10 minutes till he cheese has fully melted. Let the dish cool down till the cheese has formed a crust over the rolls.
Serve with a tomato and olive sauce.
