A tasty appetizer with a twist, they are baked but still an excellent tasty treat with only a portion of the calories as the fried version.

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese

3 Tablespoons Miracle Whip

2 Tablespoons Hidden Valley Ranch Powder

2 Tablespoons finely chopped chives

1 quarter cup crab meat, claw is best , frozen or canned, crab meat substitute can also be used.

1 package won ton wrappers

Spray a mini muffin pan with vegetable spray.  Place a wonton in each insert in muffin tray.  Mix the cream cheese, Miracle Whip, Ranch powder and chives until smooth.  Chop the crab until it is as fine or chunky as you like it, fold it carefully into the mix.  Drop about a half of tablespoon of the mixture in each wonton, moisten the middle section with water and crimp in the wonton fashion.  After all the wontons are filled and crimped, spray a light spray of vegetable spray, bake in a 425 degree oven for 12 to 18 minutes until golden brown.  Serve hot with plum sauce.  Makes 48 wontons.
