Fish and Tomato Loaf

This loaf will be a surprise because your guests will never guess the surprise filling inside.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 small loaf of bread – 1 cooked potato, cut into cubes
  • ½ kg of fish, cooked and minced
  • 2 table spoon shallots, chopped
  • ¼ cup cream
  • 1 egg.

Method:

  1. Cut 1/3rd from the top of bread and remove the crumbs from inside the loaf, leaving the crust 1 cm thick.
  2. Keep the crumbs for later use.
  3. Combine the fish, potato, shallots, cream and egg and fill the crust.
  4. Replace the top of the loaf and wrap tightly in foil.
  5. Bake for about ½ an hour to 45 minutes.
  6. Serve with tomato sauce.
