Mix The Cubes

A Chinese dish that is easy to prepare and the ingredients are just around the corner. Convenient for busy and working moms.

–INGREDIENTS–

4 cloves of garlic (chopped)

1 small onion (chopped)

250 g minced pork (you can add more if you prefer to have more meat)

      [season with light sauce, sesami oil and pepper for at least half an hour]

7 pcs. chinese mushroom (soak in hot water till soft, squeeze out the water, cut off the stem and cut into small cubes)

1 medium carrots (cut into small cubes)

1 box silken tufo (cut into small cubes)

1 tbsp. oysters sauce for seasoning (you can add more according to your likeness)

1 tbsp. oil for frying

spring onions (chopped)

water

dash of salt

–PROCEDURE–

Heat up oil in the frying pan, saute onions, garlic till fragrant,

Add some cold water to marinated minced pork and stir, this will prevent from the meat to become lumpy when you start to fry.

Fry the minced pork till cooked, try to minced it while cooking to avoid being lumpy.

Add the chinese murshroom and sprinkle a dash of salt. Fry for about 3 mins. till very soft.

Add the carrots till half cooked, and followed by the silken tufo. Season with oyster sauce and pepper. Stir until the oyster sauce or taste is even. Dont over mix, the tufo is too soft and can smashed easily.

Simmer until the silken tufo is hot. Topped with spring oinions and serve while hot.
