Mutton Korma Recipe
Mutton Korma Recipe is tasty recipe.

A basic version of classic north Indian dish.
Ingredients for 3-4 servings:
½ kg meat, cut into pieces
1 cup curd
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
½ tbsp salt
2 large onions
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 ½ tbsp coriander powder
½ tbsp red chili powder
½ tbsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil
3 cm cinnamom
4-5 cloves
1-2 black cardamoms
4-5 green cardamoms
1-2 bay leaves
1 tbsp garam masala powder or 1 tbsp kewra water, optional
Preparation:
Wash the meat and drain. Beat the curd till smooth and blended, add the ginger garlic paste and salt, and beat and stir well to blend. Add the meat and mix to cover completely. Leave to marinate for 2 hours, or overnight or all day in the fridge.
Slice the onions fine. Mix all the spice powders except the garam masala with a little water to a thin paste.
Method:
Heat the oil, burning it if using mustard oil. Lower the heat, throw in the whole spices and bay leaves, and fry till fragrant. Raise the heat, add the onions, and fry stirring constantly, till beginning to turn golden. Add the meat and curd mixture, and cook on high heat stirring constantly till it dries up. Bhuno till the oil separates, adding ¼ cup water 2-3 times as it dries.
Stir in the mixed masala paste and bhuno once or twice more. Pour in 1-1 ½ cups water, and cook under pressure for about 10 minutes till the meat is nearly done.
When the pressure goes down, open the cooker and simmer for another 10-15 minutes, reducing the gravy or adding a few tbsp water till it is the consistency u like.
Sprinkle with garam masala or kewra water, ifu sed, and serve.
