Riverside Cafe

A little hidden away cafe in Oklahoma.

When driving down Interstate 44 between Oklahoma City and Witchita Falls, TX, you may find yourself hungry. There is a little gem of a cafe only about five minutes off the highway in Medicine Park, Oklahoma. The restaurant is worth going out of the way. It is the Riverside Cafe. The Cafe above the riverside actually. It is slightly elavated above the river as it shoots out from above the river banks. The cafe actually has a large tree growing through the center of the restaurant. It seems that the tree was there before the building and the orginal owners decided to build around it instead of cutting it down. The menu features numerous river delicacies and some not so river delicacies. There are fish ranging from cat fish to mahi mahi to salmon. The steaks and burgers are outstanding also. After eating, you can actually walk down to the river and feed some of the wild life inlude ducks, fish, and turtles.
