Salmon a La Panian

published by Patrick Panian on Sep 28, 2008

Recipe for a delicious salmon dish that is very easy to make. It takes little time and preparation while still tasting delicious.

Ingredients:

  • Roughly One Pound of Salmon
  • Olive Oil (½ cup)
  • Red Wine Vinegar (¼ cup)
  • Soy Sauce (¼ cup)
  • Worcestershire Sauce (table spoon)
  • Garlic (2 to 3 cloves minced or finely chopped)
  • Oregano (2 table spoons)

Method:

First, get a container big enough to fit the salmon fillet inside of it. A large zip-lock bag works the best. Place the salmon fillet inside. Take all of the ingredients listed above and put them into the c container. Once you have added every ingredient, shake the container causing everything to mix together. Once you have done this and the mixture seems to be evenly distributed, place in container in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour, allowing the salmon to marinate and soak in all the flavor. Shake the container periodically (every 10 to fifteen minutes) re mixing the ingredients so the flavor distributes evenly.

Once the salmon is done marinating, pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. When the oven has reached that temperature, place the salmon on a baking tray, skin down, and pour half of the marinade over the top. Put it in the oven and let it cook for 18 minutes. Take the salmon out of the oven half way through baking (after 9 minutes) and pour the rest of the marinade over the salmon. Place back in the oven for the remainder of the cooking time. Once the 18 minutes are over, simply take the salmon out of the oven and serve.

No you are ready for you meal. I always serve this dish with sweet potatoes and a vegetable side, such as spinach or asparagus.
