Sea Food Chowder and Nicose Salad!

This article contains two recipes, one is sea food chowder and other one is salad.

 

1.   SEA FOOD CHOWDER

 

Ingredients Required:

·         Fish stock – 2-3 bowls

·         Potatoes – one

·         Prawns (boiled) -10 nos

·         Boiled fish (of your choice) – few pieces

·         Salt – to taste

·         Basil leaves – a few

·          Pepper – to taste.

Method:

v  Take fish stock in a pan and add chopped prawns and fish to it.

v  Place on low flame and heat for about five minutes.

v  Thicken the preparation with finely mashed potatoes.

v  Season with peeper and salt, garnish with basil leaves and serve hot.

 

2.  NICOSE SALAD

  Ingredients Required:

·         Iceberg lettuce -100 gms

·          Tuna fish – 50 gms

·         Tomatoes – 20 gms

·         Olives – 5 nos

·         Potatoes (blanched and diced) – 5 nos

·         Eggs (boiled) – one

·         French beans – 5 nos

·         Balsamic vinegar -1 tbsp.

·         Olive oil – 1 tbsp.

·         Salt – to taste

·         Pepper – to taste.

Method:

v  Make a bed of iceberg lettuce.

v  Now place finely cut tuna, tomatoes, french beans, and the diced potatoes over the iceberg lettuce.

v  Garnish with eggs (cut lengthwise) and olives.

v  Toss all the ingredients in olive oil and vinegar and serve cold.
