Ways of Cooking Fish

In this post, I am going to explain a few ways that you can cook your fish.

If you ever wonder how to broil fish? Wonder no more as I am going to explain it to you.

For broiling fish you usually use a large fish. Then slit down the back and then both the head and tail are removed.

Clean the fish then placed on a broiler rack that is well greased.  The flesh side  should be seared first, then skin side turning often while broiling.

At first, place fish close to heat, then after awhile lower heat and complete cooking.

The best fish for broiling are the mostly oily fish, such as bluefish, mackerel, herring and salmon. If you have a craing for dry fish and broiling method is your favorite form of cooking fish, such as cold and halibut steaks, spread butter on it and sprinkle with lemon juice before serving.

To saute fish, after you buy your fish. Clean, wash and wipe fish thoroughly dry, dip in an egg that has been beaten then drudge in bread crumbs.

To do the actual sauting, you will need a shallow frying pan with a little bit of preheated fat. When it is half done, that is the time to season. Turn with a large spatula to brown both sides. In this dish you can either use solid or liquid fat, the choice is yours.

The fish that are best for sauting are small fish such as flounder, or steaks of larger fish such as cod and halibut.
