Frosted Cookie Pizza

I am not even going to try and pretend this recipe is figure friendly, but everything in moderation….right? It will yield around 16 moderate slices. Kids can get involved with the recipe and it’s the perfect excuse to use up any leftover Halloween, Valentines Day, Easter, etc.
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of plain sugar
- ½ cup packed dark brown sugar
- ½ cup of room temperature butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 ¼ cup of flour
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ½ tsp pure almond extract
- ½ tsp of baking soda
- 16 ounce chocolate, vanilla, cream cheese, or any other flavor of choice of frosting
- 6 oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Topping Suggestions:
*use none or as many as you like*
- Walnuts, pecans, or slivered almonds, etc..
- Chopped candy bar pieces- Snickers, Mounds, Kit-Kat, etc..
- M&M’s or other round candies
- Candy sprinkles
- Toasted flaky coconut
- Chocolate covered raisins
- Marshmallows
Method:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat brown and white sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla and almond extracts in a large bowl until creamy.
- Add baking soda and flour, mixing well after each.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- On a 12 inch pizza pan, spread the dough evenly into a round pizza shape.
- Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cookie needs to completely cool before frosting.
- Spread frosting evenly, leaving a ¼ inch unfrosted boarder.
- Add your choice of toppings (see optional toppings for suggestions.)
- Cut and serve.

Sounds like a great recipe Jo. This will not sit too well with my exercise routine. But like you said before, everything in moderation. Well done.
