How to make the perfect pizza.

This guide is going to show you how to make the perfect pizza.

Ingredients

  • Yeast, even just a few little packets will do.
  • Flour, get a lot if you will be making a lot of dough.
  • 2 medium sized bowls
  • Olive oil, cooking oil, canola oil, or any kinds of oil like that. But I don’t suggest Pam, unless you want a pretty gross pizza.
  • Mozzarella cheese. I know many of you are thinking, oh I can just slice up that American cheese in the fridge, you can’t, when the pizza comes out, the cheese will look as though you poured fondue and fudge on the pizza.
  • Pizza sauce, you can use spaghetti sauce, but I find pizza sauce to taste better.
  • An oven.
  • A pizza tray, unless you have a giant pan or an open fire oven.
  • A ½ cup measuring cup and/or a 1 cup measuring cup.
  • A wooden spoon, or a normal spoon. It doesn’t matter, but a wooden spoon will work out better.
  • Any kind of toppings that you want!

Method

  1. Take 1 of your bowls and add 1 ¼ cups of warm (not hot, not cold) water to the bowl.
  2. Take a pinch of yeast, and put it in the water. The more yeast you add, the higher you pizza will get.
  3. Add 2 cups of flower to the water, and stir with a wooden spoon until the ingredients are mixed. Also, if you have any kind of pizza seasoning, you can add this now. It will not affect the mixture. It will just bake in the seasoning for a better taste.
  4. Then, add no less than 1 ½ cups and no more than 2 cups of flower. If you added a little more than a pinch of yeast, add more flower this time.
  5. After stirring the ingredients, the mixture should be really hard to keep stirring.
  6. Now you should find a surface to knead the dough on. So the dough won’t stick, add flour to your hands and the surface your kneading on. Knead the dough for about 10-15 minuets.
  7. Then take your second bowl, and grease the inside with some oil. Just a light coat of oil is perfect. Put your dough in the bowl, and flip it, so both sides of the dough are covered in oil. Then just cover up the bowl with saran wrap or tin foil. Leave the dough in a warm place for about 45 minuets so it can rise.
  8. Make sure you preheat your oven to about 475-500 before cooking.
  9. In the meantime, take your pizza tray and put a light coat of oil on it. Your done with the oil now. If you have any toppings, you might as well start chopping them now. TIP: When your cutting topping like pepperoni, you want them to be cut really thin, if they are too thick, they will burn.
  10. 45 minuets later, take the dough and spread it on the tray. Then you can put on your sauce, if you pour the sauce on, and take a big spoon, you can spread it easier.
  11. Then take your mozzorala cheese and put that on top. TIP: You can put that pizza seasoning on again any time during this process if you like.
  12. Then you can apply your toppings if you have any. TIP: If you have toppings that might stick up, like onion, push them down flat or else they will burn.
  13. After your done, just stick the pizza in the oven for about 23 minuets.
  14. Take it out, and enjoy! Be careful though, the pizza will be really hot. If your dough is not done on the inside of the crust, something went wrong. Unless you want a stomach ache, don’t eat the pizza.
