Give healthy pizza to your family, thus preventing them from eating junk food.

Ingredients

For the dough

  1. Maida flour or plain flour – 500 gm
  2. Yeast – 1 tsp
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Sugar – ½ tsp
  5. Water to make dough
  6. Oats – 3 tbl.sp
  7. As maida does not contain any fiber, it is better to add oats to make it fiber rich.

  • (Capsicum, spring onion, carrot, French beans)
  • Soya sauce – 1 ½ tsp
  • Tomato ketchup – 2 tbl.sp

  • Ajinomoto – optional
  • Shredded cheese – 500 gms
  • Shredded chicken – 100 gms
  • Olive oil – 1 tbl.sp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Method

  1. In a vessel, add salt, sugar and little water, add yeast and oats to it. When it dissolves completely, add Maida to it and make a dough. Cover it with a wet cloth and keep it aside.
  2.  In a deep frying add, heat little olive oil or any cooking oil, add shredded chicken( boneless chicken boiled and made into small pieces), green chilli, ginger garlic paste, fry it till the raw smell goes, then add to it vegetables, salt, soya sauce, tomato ketchup and mix well and allow it to cook for some time till all water evaporates. Remove from fire and let it cool.
  3.  With the dough, make a thick flat rotis and half roast on a pan. Spread vegetable masala on it and sprinkle with cheese. On a greased baking tray, place this pizza and allow it to cook on 180 degree C, till the cheese turns golden brown. Cut into pieces and serve hot.
  4. This will make a healthy pizza for your kids, a fibre rich pizza.
