Meat Samosas

Ingredients

  • 1/2tbsp oil
  • 1/2tsp chilli powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 onion
  • 4oz minced beef/pork/turkey
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1tsp cumin
  • pastry

Method

Knead dough and divide into 12 (4″x4″) squares. Heat oil and fry onion, add spices, mince and seasoning, and a little water and fry for 10 minutes. Add lemon juice and cool. Place equal amounts in pastry squares and seal to form triangles. Bake at Gas mark 7 for 20-30 minutes.
