Why not try barbecued tocino and longganisa?

When your traditional pan fried tocino and longganisa start to get a little boring, try shaking things up by barbecuing them! It’s very easy, just follow these simple steps:

Instruction:

  • Purchase your tocino and longganisa. Tocino is sweet pork chop, while longganisa is sweet pork sausage. You can determine the quantity you need.
  • Set up your barbeque grill, preferably outdoors. If you have one of those George Forman Grill, then you can barbeque indoors. 
  • Barbeque the T & L. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the tocino and density of the longganisa. Generally, it should take about 10 to 15 minutes to cook. Be careful not to burn them. 

And that’s it, you’re done! Filipinos traditionally eat T & L with rice and garlicky vinegar sauce. You can also try serving them as appetizers for your cocktail parties. Enjoy!
