Beef Teriyaki

Beef Teriyaki
Marinade:
- 7 tbsp Dry sherry
- 2 tbsp Fine sugar
- 1/2 cup Dark soy sauce
- 1 lb boneless sirloin, cut into strips
Preparation:
In a bowl, place all marinade ingredients, mix well. Add the steak strips, coating well and chill overnight.
Ingredients:
- 1 Large thinly sliced onion
- 1 Red pepper, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp Corn oil
- 1/2 tsp Dried chives
- 2 Sliced scallions, garnish
Preparation:
Remove steak strips, reserving marinade. Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok or large skillet. Add onion and red pepper, stir-fry for about 3 minutes, remove and set aside. Add 1 tbsp oil and stir-fry the steak, until just cooked through. Add onion, dried chives, red pepper and marinade, cook until heated through, about 3 minutes. Serve and garnish with scallions.
