Easy meatballs that only take a few minutes to make but taste absolutely delicious.
Ingredients
- 16oz ground beef
- 11/2 cups panko
- 1 large egg, beaten lightly
- 1 garlic glove, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1/2 green pepper diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cups tomato sauce
- coarse salt and pepper
Method
Combine beef, panko, egg, garlic, italian seasoning, lemon juice, and 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Mix
until just combined. Using a 1/4 cup scoop out mixture and shape into a ball. Place on a cookie sheet. You may adjust the size of meatball to what you like. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs, onions, and peppers and brown, about 10 mins. Add tomato sauce and bring to a boil over med-high heat. Cover, simmer for about 10 more minutes or until meatballs are cooked through. Enjoy!
