Cauliflower and Minced Beef

A simple mid week recipe for all the family to enjoy

 Recipe for 4

 Pre cook some macaroni cover and keep warm( macaroni will continue to cook. Under cook to your tastes then cover)

Ingredients

  • 8 oz minced beef
  • 1 dessertspoon corn flour
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1Ib cauliflower florets
  • 1tbsp +1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 pint water
  • Dripping or oil for frying

Method

  1. Mix the cornflour, soy sauce, water, and salt & pepper together in a dish.
  2. Mix the cornflour paste in with the beef and leave to stand.
  3. Heat a pan, add a spot of oil and the Sauté cauliflower florets quickly (t minute),
  4. Add 1 tsp soy sauce and toss the florets quickly and remove from the pan to another dish
  5. Place the minced beef mixture in the frying pan and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add the pint water to this then add the cauliflower and simmer for 3 minutes.
  7. Serve with the pre cooked boiled macaroni.
