Chicken Liver and Gizzard with Beans
A simple and easy to cook but nutritious recipe.
When cooking a certain recipe, always take into consideration the nutritional value it provides whether it is a balance diet or not. There are plenty of meat and vegetable combination that makes a balance meal. One of these is this recipe I called – Chicken Liver & Gizzard with Beans.
Ingredients:
- ½ kg chicken liver and gizzard each cut into quarter
- ¼ kg Baguio beans, cut slantwise about an inch long
- Cooking oil
- 1 medium-sized garlic, minced
- 2 medium-sized onion, chopped
- Black pepper
- Soy sauce or tomato sauce, when using tomato sauce add salt to taste
- MSG (optional)

Procedure:
- In a small amount of cooking oil, sauté garlic and onion
- Add chicken liver and gizzard
- Cook until all water evaporated and oil starts to appear mixing occasionally
- Pour soy sauce or tomato sauce and cook for few minutes
- Add beans and black pepper mixing constantly and cook for a minute or two
- Don’t overcook beans to retain its freshness and crispiness
- Dish out and serve with rice

That’s how easy and simple to cook this nutritious recipe. Its chow time! Enjoy your meal!
