Chili Con Carne

A quick recipe for chili con carne.

Ingredients:

  • 300g of lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 10ml of oil
  • 300ml tomatoes (canned)
  • 125ml of red kidney beans
  • 125ml of brown beans
  • 2ml salt
  • 7ml chili powder

Method:

  1. Place oil into frying pan and sauté chopped onions.
  2. Remove onion from pan and cook ground beef until well done.
  3. Place all ingredients into frying pan and let mixture simmer for 20 minutes. Place mixture into serving bowls and garnish with grated cheddar cheese.

Corn bread is a good side with this recipe
