Chipotle Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork
Super Easy shredded pork recipe. What could be better!? Chipotle peppers, Dr. Pepper, and Shredded Pork! What makes this recipe even easier? THE CROCKPOT!
1 Whole Large Onion
1 Whole Pork Shoulder 5 to 7 LBS
Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Can (11 OZ) Chipotle Peppers in Adobe Sauce
2 Cans Dr. Pepper
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
Turn the crockpot on HIGH! Chop that onion into wedges – what ever size you’d like Small, Medium, or Large.
Season throughly the WHOLE Pork Shoulder with salt and pepper. Place the Pork Shoulder on top of the onions in the crockpot.
Sprinkle the 2 Tablespoons Of Brown Sugar over the top of the Roast. Then spread the Chipotle Peppers and Adobo sauce over the meat evenly.
Finally Pour your 2 FABULOUS Dr. Pepper cans over your meat so the flavors mesh together!
Cook Meat on low for 8 HOURS! And 8 Hours later, YOU HAVE AWESOME Spicy Dr. Pepper Shrededded Pork!
Take the meat out of the crock pot, it Shreds beautifuly! Pour your favorite BBQ sauce ALL OVER make it nice and saucy!
