Chris’ Peppered Steak Tip

published by Chris Bailie on May 29, 2012

Improving your peppered steaks.

Hello everybody,

I would like to share with you all my tip for a peppered steak, I think there is nothing better than to have a nice leisurely barbecue on a hot summer’s day and drinking a chilled glass of wine at the same time.

My tip for my peppered steak is when you have unwrapped your steak from the packaging, place on your chopping board and use a meat tenderiser to tenderise your steak to the person’s satisfaction or your own.

Once I have tenderised my steak once on both sides, I then add a fine layer of salt over one side of my steak followed by grinding fresh pepper corns over my steak as well.

Once you have done this then use the meat tenderiser again and this will then ensure that the salt and grinded pepper corns stay fixed to your steak, you will possibly lose some pepper from your steak, but the majority of your pepper will stay on, if tenderised enough.

Do this to both sides of your steak and then place on your barbecue and cook to the person’s satisfaction or your own if you are cooking for yourself.

I hope you like and appreciate my idea….any comments or likes are appreciated, thank you.

Sincerely,

Chris Bailie.

Want to hear a story about steak. Once my brother in law was carrying a plate of steak for a barbeque for Memorial Day and i was bending over and as he passed by I stood up and i am so short I hit my head on the plate. Ouch!

Chris, Sounds perfectly effective! What do you particularly recommend in the way of chilled wines with peppered steaks au Chris?
Respectfully, and with many thanks for sharing, Derdriu
