Cooking Without Mom: Beef Burritos

A delicious dish that is not only nutritious, and well balanced meal, but goes great with parties too! It’s super easy to make, and does not take a long time. It’s great!
Ingredients
- 250g ground beef
- 50mL onion
- 15mL taco seasoning
- 100mL grated cheese
- 75mL re fried beans
- 50mL tomatoes, chopped
- 50mL lettuce, shredded
- 50mL sour cream
- 30mL salsa
- 4 tortilla shells
- 50mL water
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Cook ground beef and onion in frying pan. Drain fat in empty bowl.
- Return meat to frying pan and add taco seasoning and 50mL water (add more water if needed).
- Wrap tortilla shells in a damp tea towel (NOT a napkin) and bake in oven for 10-12 minutes (no longer).
- Spread 1/3 of tortilla shell with refried beans.
- Top with meat mixture.
- Add cheese, tomato, lettuce, sour cream and salsa.
- Fold up the bottom quarter of shell.
- Roll from the food side. Eat!
