Corned Beef Torta Pastillas

Torta was not as delicious and nutritious until milk was added to the recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 ½ cups corned beef
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce
- 1 medium carrot, finely chopped
- ½ medium singkamas, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup powdered milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. fine iodized salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
Method:
- Place beaten eggs in a bowl. Add the flour gradually. Mix well.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Mix it well again.
- In a medium heat, put enough cooking oil in a saucepan. Fry every half a cup of mixture until golden brown. Do the same with the remaining mixture. Serve with Banana Ketchup.
Makes 5-6 servings

It’s like a fish fillet but the only difference is that it’s filled with corned beed. I like it.
