Crock Pot Ground Beef Stroganoff

This budget-friendly family meal recipe is easy to prepare and versatile enough to satisfy all your family members.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-4oz can of sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup beef bouillon
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3/4 cup sour cream mixed with 2 tablespoons of flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Noodles or rice, cooked

Preparation

Brown ground beef in large skillet, then add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Sauté until vegetable caramelize. Place in crock pot with all remaining ingredients EXCEPT sour cream mixture and noodles/rice.

Stir ingredients in crock pot thoroughly, cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3 hours. Stir in sour cream mixture 1 hour before crock pot cooking cycle is done. Serve the crock pot beef stroganoff over hot buttered noodles or rice.

    My mom used to make this same recipe when I was a kid! It’s soooooooo good! It easy to make and very cheap! Great recipe!!!
