Delicious Egg Fried Rice Recipe
Had enough of ordering egg fried rice from the take-away?
Save yourself money and have a better rice dish than your take-away!
Ingredients:
Serves 4 -
4 Eggs
Half cup of Frozen peas
Chopped Spring Onion
3 Table spoons of oil
6 cups of cooked rice
4 Rations of Cooked Bacon
2 table spoons of Soy Sauce
Method:
1. Add the oil to a large wok, heat wok on medium to large heat setting.
2. Add Already cooked rice to the wok, gently brown the rice for 1 minute.
3. As rice is browning beat the eggs in a bowl, add pinch of salt, spoonful of spring onion.
4. Make a well in the middle of your wok with the rice, then add the beaten egg mixture.
5. Fold and mix in the egg mixture with the rice, increase heat and continue stirring for 2 minutes.
6. Add the frozen peas, and the rest of the spring onion, cook for further 1 minute.
7. Break already cooked bacon into pieces and mix bacon into the egg fried rice, add the soy sauce.
8. Stir continuously for 1 minute, making sure peas have cooked and rice is brown and tasty. Season to your taste. Serve and enjoy!
