Dump and Splash Baked Pork and Beans

This is a great recipe for a potluck dinner. Easy to make in no time at all. You need Lima beans, molasses or syrup, brown sugar, mustard, ketchup, salt and pepper, and bacon. Happy eating.

Dump and Splash Baked Pork and Beans

(1) pound bag of large lima beans. Soak them over night in a large pot. In the morning cook them with a dash of salt until they are soft. Drain them and put them in a roasting pan. Add a half of a jar of molasses or syrup if you like, (1) tablespoon of brown sugar, (1) teaspoon of mustard, a dash of salt and pepper and pour in a little bit of ketchup and stir. Taste it, then add any of the above ingredients so that it tastes the way you like it. Then add a half pound of bacon cut up and bake for (1) and a ½ hours at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
