Grilled Steak Ala Carol

If you like something hot and peppery… this one is the best one to chomp on for dinner.

I am not a fan of meat really… what I love to eat mostly is veggies or fish. But my husband always loves to chomp something grilled and meaty so I tried to cook this. It’s not my first time to cook this one but it’s my first time to cook it in the oven. When I say grilled, I used charcoal for it. But since it’s raining outside I tried this one in the oven. And it’s not that bad.

Ingredients:

½ a kilo or 1 lbs of beef steak (any cut of your choice)

3 cloves garlic (minced)

1 medium onion (minced)

1 tsp of sea salt

½ tsp of sugar

½ TBSP black pepper (this depends on how you like the taste of the pepper)

½ tsp white pepper

2 pieces bird’s eye chili pepper

Procedure:

1.       Mix all ingredients together.

2.       Rub the marinade on to the meat and leave it for 30 minutes.

3.       Charcoal grill 5-10 minutes on each side depending on your preferred doneness. Or oven or broiler in 250 degrees for 10 minutes.

4.       Serve hot with grilled corn on the side. It’s also good to have gravy (like what I did). Enjoy.
