Ingredients

  • 1 Lbs. Ground Beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 ribs celery, diced
  • 4 Oz. sliced carrots, or baby carrots corsely chopped
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 cups dried lentils, rinsed
  • 2  15 Oz. cans plain tomato sauce
  • 32 Oz. Beef Broth

Method

Brown the ground beef and onion together until browned. Drain and place in  a 5-6 quart crockpot. Add the other remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours, or on low for 8-10 hours. The lentils in this dish soak up a lot of liquid, so you may have to add more stock or water towards the end of cooking. Enjoy!
