Homemade Corned Beef Hash

You may never eat canned again.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb corned beef/chopped or diced small (cooked)
  • 5-6 small potatoes /peeled-diced or chopped small then par boil, not cooked , just slightly tender and drained
  • 1/4 cup minced carrots
  • 1 small onion,diced or chopped
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground red and black peppercorns
  • 1/8 tsp dry mustard

Method

I use to chop all with a knife but, I bought this handheld chopper/dicer from a pampered chef party I had, it is the greatest thing. I use it all the time is so easy.

  1. take your corned beef,onions, carrots,potatoes,and mix all together.
  2. then add all your seasoning.
  3. mix well
  4. now add the eggs and mix well
  5. put a little oil or margarine or pam in a fry pan or skillet, on med to medium to high heat. different stoves and pans cook different
  6. take about 1 handful about 1/2 cup squeeze in hands to form a ball.
  7. and then flatten like a burger about 1/2 in thick.
  8. carefully place in heated pan ,when the bottom is brown and crispy
  9. flip over and cook until the other side is brown and crispy.
