A Short Guide to Frying Bacon.

I was cooking bacon today and it wasn’t super delicious and crunchy. So i made a guide!

Some notes to you before you fry bacon.. Never and i mean Never cook your bacon with an already heated pan. Make sure you do not heat up that pan until you start frying the bacon.

To cook bacon you will need to get materials ready.

Materials

  • Of course.. The BACON!
  • Frying Pan
  • Tongs.. Or you can use a fork. I prefer tongs though.
  • Paper Towels
  • A Bowl, or Plate if you like.

Method

  1. 1. Step one is real easy. Get your bacon from where you store it, mines in the freezer =], And get it ready.         Defrost it, and cut it into pieces. I usually cut them in half. Make sure you use a lot of bacon if you can, because the bacon does get small after you fry it.. I had to learn that the hard way.
  2. 2. Step two is place the bacon on the frying pan, and put the heat on whatever you like. I like using medium heat, it makes it crispy and cooks a bit faster than low heat. When you are placing the bacon on the pan make sure you place them side by side, and make sure they do not touch.
  3. 3. Step three fry the bacon to a crisp. When you fry the bacon, turn them often with your tongs. I like to turn them every 2 minutes, but its really up to you. If you would like to make your bacon crunchy with a crisp just leave the bacon longer than usual. The bacon will pop so watch out.
  4. 4. Step four take a sheet of paper towel and place it in a bowl or on a plate and spread it out, take the bacon out of the frying pan, and place them on a paper towel to drain the fat from the bacon.
  5. 5. Turn off your stove, clean out the frying pan, place bacon on a plate, Eat, And Enjoy!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! You Now Know How To Fry Bacon!
