At our house, we are always trying to find different things to make and add our own little version or twist.  This is a recipe that I put together one night for supper and my family loved it.  I hope you do too.  It is something great to eat on those cool Autumn nights and also fairly simple to make.

Ingreditnts

  • 1 Lb Of Ground Beef or Ground Turkey (Whichever you prefer)
  • 1 Lb of sausage
  • 3 Eggs
  •  3 Green onions, chopped
  • And then a couple shakes each of the following…more or less to suit your taste.
  • Oregano
  • Basil
  • Thyme
  • Marjarim
  • Sea Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sage
  • Chili powder
  • Paprika
  • Everglade seasoning (IFf you happen to have some on hand, otherwise you can omit this)
  • Celery seed
  • Dill seed
  • Seasoned salt

Method

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.  Shape into round balls and then fry in 1-2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat until completely done-turning over occassionally to make sure meat is well done on all sides.

These are great with a side of pasta or a baked potato.  The meatballs taste great on top of either dish or all by themselves.  Then of course, add any vegetable of your choice to complete the meal.

Sounds great. Seems odd that I don’t know what everglade seasoning is.
