Italian Pork Steaks
These have been a great addition to my family’s low-carb lifestyle! The pork steaks are very tender and they are quite reasonably priced, too.

Ingredients
- 3 TBS Olive Oil plus 2 TBS for frying
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- salt and pepper
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 4 medium sized bone in pork chops
- 1 cup dry red wine, such as burgandy
Instructions
In a small food processor add the parsley, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper and 3 TBS olive oil. Pulse for 10 seconds.
Heat a non-stick pan with the remaining olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the parsley mixture to the pan and place the pork chops on top. Saute the chops for 5 minutes on each side.
Add the wine and fennel seed over the pork. Cover and cook for 20 minutes until the wine has reduced by half.
Serve each chop drizzled with some of the remaining broth.
