Kicked Up Manwich
Sometimes you don’t have a lot of time to get dinner ready, kids bathed and ready for bed and still have a little time for yourself at the end of your day. So here is a kicked up way to add a little “pop” to your Manwich meal. It may come from a can, but it will taste like it’s homemade.
Ingredients:
- 1 can of Manwich
- 1 pound of hamburger
- 1 teaspoon of chopped roasted garlic
- 1 teaspoon of regular ground garlic
- 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
- Favorite buns
Preparation:
- Brown the hamburger in a medium frying pan on medium heat. (Be careful not to cook the meat too well done.)
- Pour your can of Manwich into the hamburger. Stirring the hamburger as you go.
- Add your chopped roasted garlic. Blend well.
- Sprinkle your ground garlic on top of the mixture. Blend well.
- Add 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce. Blend well.
- Allow mixture to come to a slight boil. Stirring occasionally to keep the mixture from sticking to the bottom of your pan.
- Taste the mixture for consistency and flavor. Add additional seasoning if needed.
- Turn the heat down to a low simmer for approximately 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to fuse together with the sauce.
- Serve on your favorite buns. (Warm the buns in the oven if desired, before plating.)
