Meat Loaf

A meat dish.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger meat (or what you desire)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup green bell pepper chopped
- 1 cup of crumble bread or crackers
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce

Method
In a large bowl mix 1lb. hamburger meat (or what you desire), teaspoon salt, teaspoon pepper, 1 cup chopped onion, 1 cup chopped green pepper, 1 cup of crumble bread or crackers, 1 egg, 1 1/2 cup ketchup, and 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, Mix well all ingredients. Place in 13×9x2 in. baking pan, spread out. Pour 1/2 cup of ketchup an spread over meat.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

It seems simple and it sound delicious. My mother in law makes meat loaf, but no ketchup or barbecue sauce. I ‘ll try your recipe during Thanksgiving.

very tasty. I have not used BBQ sauce, but I like that idea. I have used crushed tortilla chips instead of bread.

Also looks like a good recipe for meatballs. Shortcut–
instead of doing all that chopping use a cup of Picante sauce.

The title was what caught my attention. Everything from the pictures to the recipe itself all look so very appetizing. If it’s alright, I’m going to print out this recipe and maybe try it sometime. It just makes my mouth water.
