Meatier Meatloaf

This is the meatloaf that will have them coming back.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Hamburger Meat
  • 1 lb Jimmy Dean “Hot” Ground Sausage
  • 1 lb Sliced Bacon
  • 1/2 lb Chopped Ham
  • 1 lb Cheddar Jack (shredded)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 to 1 cup bread crumbs

Method

  1. Set aside 3 full slices of bacon.
  2. Slice remaining bacon and ham into small bits and fry in a dry skillet.  Drain grease.
  3. Mix fried ham and bacon in bowl with cheese.
  4. In another bowl, mix hamburger and sausage with eggs and breadcrumbs.  Press 2/3 of mixture around the bottom and sides of greased loaf pan.  (leave middle hollow)  Fill center with bacon/ham/cheese mixture.  Use remaining 1/3 of meat mixture to make a “top” to the loaf.  Place the 3 reserved pieces of bacon over top of meatloaf and bake for 45 min at 350°.
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

    This recipe is missing 2 eggs and 1/2 to 1 cup of breadcrumbs to be mixed into the hamburger and jimmy dean, sorry for the mistake!!!!
