Mummu’s Pork Rib’s and Cabbage Dinner
A Family Favorite That is a Great Option For Your Saturday Dinner.
Your will need two lbs of ribs and a 1/2 green cabbage large and your favorite barbecue sauce.
Cut the cabbage in large pieces and place in a large pot of water
add 1/2 tsp of salt
and 1 tablespoon of vinegar
add the ribs ( cut in large pieces,) to the pot.
Bring to a boil and turn ribs and cabbage then place on medium heat
for about 30 mins watching that the pot has enough water to almost cover the ribs
turn several times simmer for 20 more minutes. Remove ribs and place in baking pan
and brush with your favorite sauce. place in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
turn the ribs once and add sauce to the other side, they can also be cooked with the sauce on your barbecue grill
The cabbage should be really tender as it is still simmering I hope
Drain the cabbage and add butter and salt and pepper to taste, place on a serving plate with the ribs place on the edges
serve with rice or corn on the cob
It smells delicious while cooking and a great feast hope you enjoy.

i could imagine how much I would enjoy this. I enjoyed just looking at the picture and I ADORE cabbage. When my mom makes stuffed cabbage she makes about 20-25 of them then gives my sister 4 and freezes the rest in twos since neither of us eat a lot and i eat both our cabbages!
