New Way for Polish Sausage and Hot Dogs

Take a can of sauerkraut and put it in the crockpot.  Then add 12 ounces of beer and 12 ounces of orange juice and 2 heaping Tbsp of brown sugar.  Cut the Polish sausage into sizes you wish to eat and turn the crockpot on.  An hour before you serve it add hot dogs.

My family makes this for Patriotic holidays in the summer.  It makes the polish sausage and hot dogs melt in your mouth.  We usually eat the Polish sausage ona bun.

    Sauerkraut, beer and orange juice with brown sugar? Sounds like a tummy ache ahead. Like the saying goes don’t knock it til you try it.
