Pinwheel Steak Hot Weather Recipe
This is a delicious meal we have several times a year when the weather is hot.
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
9 oz frozen spinach, thaed and drained well
1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp plain bread crumbs
1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp seasoned salt2 (1 pound) boneless beef sirloin steak (3/4 inch thick)
In between two two pieces of wax paper or plastic wrap, place a steak between them.. Use either a meat mallots flat side or use rolling pin, gently pound the meat beginning in the cenyer until 1/2 inch thick. Repeat with the rest of the steak.Make shallow cuts in 1 inch intervals on both sides, this is called scoring. Steaks should now be placed on waxed paper Use Worceshire on the steaks and sprinkle with seasoned salts.
In a bowl, combine cheese, spinach, Italian seasoning and bread crumbs and make sure it is mixed well.
Use half of the spinch mixture and spread it over the steaks to within 1/2 inch of ends. Roll up the steak starting with short side in a jellyroll fashion. At 1 inch intervals. Between the toothpicks into 1 inch slices. Thread twosteak pinwills, cut side up onto each of eight each of 10 inch metal skewers.
Use oil on grill rack when ready to grill. Place steak pinwills on gas grill is medium heat. Cook 10-15 minutes or until before beef , turning once occasionally.is done to what you desire
