Pizza Meatloaf Recipe

This is for those of us who don’t like the taste of traditional meatloaf.

Pizza Meatloaf

1 envelope Onion Soup Mix (I use Lipton’s)
2 Lbs. Ground beef
1 1/2 cups plain bread crumbs (I use the cheapest)
2 Eggs
1 Small green pepper chopped
1/4 cup Water
1 cup Ragu Pizza Quick pizza sauce
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella cheese (I like extra cheese so I use 4 cups)

Preheat oven to 350

1. In large bowl mix everything except 1/2 cup pizza sauce & 1/2 cup cheese (I keep about a cup of cheese)
2. In 13×9 inch baking dish or roasting pan shape into loaf (I don’t like to use a pan so I put mine on a rack with a foil lined cookie sheet under it), top with remaining 1/2 cup sauce. Bake uncovered 50 mins.
3. Sprinkle top with remaining cheese. Bake 10 minutes or until done.  Let stand 10 minutes and enjoy

I’ve also added 1 jar of mushrooms to this once and that was good too
