Pork Chops a La Orange
This makes four servings, very nice flavour. This is great for New Years- it is a change from the turkey and chicken dinners.

Pork Chops a la Orange
- 4 pork chops
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 Tbap. cooking oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 4 whole cloves
- 4 thin orange slices
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- Combine flour, seasoning salt, pepper, paprika.
- Reserve 1 tsp. mixture.
- Coat chops with remaining flour mixture.
- Heat oil skillet and brown chops.
- Add orange juice and cloves.
- Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender, turning occasionally.
- Add orange slices and cook minutes longer.
- Remove chops and orange slices to serving platter.
- Remove cloves and discard.
- Blens reserved flour into 2 Tbsp. water.
- Pour slowly into skillet, stirring constantly.
- Cook until sauce thickens.
- Spoon sauce over chops and serve.
