Pork Chops in the Oven

A lovely dish of pork and potatoes.

Preparing time: 20 min

Portions: 4

Cooking time: 1 hour and 10 minutes

These are guidelines only as cooking appliances will vary.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 large red onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 level spoon of curry
  • Some mixed herbs (fresh or dry)
  • Oil
  • 1 cube of chicken stock
  • 300 ml Water

Preparation

  1. Peel all the vegetables ,cut the potatoes in rounds, wash them and leave them on a side.
  2. Put a little bit of oil in the bottom of the dish you are cooking in.
  3. Put some onions on the bottom.
  4. Put pork chops on top of the onions.
  5. Now start putting the potatoes on top of the pork chops.
  6. And then the garlic and the rest of the onions on top, and around the potatoes.
  7. Put the curry and the herbs ,and crumble the chicken cube between your fingers on top of every thing.
  8. Put the water on top, wrap up with foil and pierce abut four wholes in the foil, and cook the first 15 minutes on 250 degrees . And the rest ( 45 min ) on 200 degrees.
  9. Take the foil off and cook for further 10 minutes . When ready leave to cool down and serve.

Tip : When put the food on the plate put some of the sauce on top or you can dip with bread in the sauce that we have done .It will be all the flavours together.
