Steak and Gravy Sauce
Quick recipe.
Steak is one of the easy to cook meals and you can have your own steak in minutes. It can be served broiled, pan-fried and grilled. The amount of time of time of cooking will depend on your preference, if you want it to be rare, medium rare or well done.
No need to go to your favorite restaurant to eat steak because you can prepare this at the comfort of your home.
Ingredients:
Beef Steak
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Butter and oil for pan-frying
Gravy sauce:
2 tbsp Beef Steak drippings
2tbsp Flour
1 tbsp Butter
½ Beef stock or 1 beef cube dissolved in water
1/4 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Season your steak with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
2. Pan- fried the steak according to your preference whether rare, medium rare or well done.
3. Set it aside.
4. Use the beef steak drippings in making your own gravy sauce.
5. Add the flour and mix it thoroughly using a wire whisk.
6. Then slowly add the beef stock and milk and continue stirring the mixture until you get the right consistency.
7. Add the butter and mix. (the butter will make your gravy glossy)
8. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
9. Serve it hot.
